Perle de Mousse
Ivy and galbanum darken the green of this chypre by Bertrand Duchaufour, and aldehydes lend bergamot and green mandarin their radiance. Hawthorn, the aubépine of French perfumers, breathes sweet anise into muguet, gardenia, rose and jasmine while clove pricks them, and mastic resin, ambergris, vanilla and musk make a salty, balsamic base.
