Boronia, an Australian shrub whose flowers carry the ionones of violet, joins violet itself, osmanthus and peach in an opening of fruit and powder freshened by green notes and freesia. Tuberose, ylang-ylang and jasmine lend the heart a creamy, narcotic weight, and civet, tamed by long maturing, brings its musky mellowness to amber, caramel and tolu balsam in the base.
