Aldehydes give rose and bergamot an effervescent, metallic lift at the top. Violet, jasmine and ylang-ylang share the heart with apple and peach, spiced by clove and pink pepper and already earthy with patchouli and vetiver. Patchouli carries on into a smoky base, where incense and moss darken amber, sandalwood and vanilla.
